What is a non-medical home care professional?
A Non-Medical Home Care Professional is a person who assists with activities necessary for well-being, sometimes referred to as "activities of daily living" or ADLs. While everyone's needs vary, some common areas of assistance are: medication management & reminders, attending medical appointments, post operative assistance, well-being check-ins, and of course, advocacy. You will receive help to stay on track with your goals, a recovery requirement, or your care plan. The Home Care Professional will work with you and your team for your back to health plan as a beneficial team member for your safe recovery to wellness. On-going check-ins, reporting, meetings, and follow-ups are standard with all levels of care with Hummingbird Home Care.
Home Care or Home Health?
You need a Home Health Professional if you need: Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing.
However, a Home Care Professional can work with your entire team to ensure consistency within your recovery plan. Hummingbird Home Care, Care Planning is based on nuanced, case-by-case assessments.
